Modular package system #

Lmod is used to manage pluggable software modules.

Please refer to the documentation for available commands.

Module groups #

Two module groups are installed: OpenHPC and SUSE HPC.

OpenHPC modules are newer and support Intel compilers and Intel MPI. SUSE HPC modules way not work with Intel compilers.

You can check the module group by its path in the output of module avail: OpenHPC modules are under /opt/ohpc/pub/, SUSE HPC modules are under /usr/share/lmod/.
